The Finnish Business Hub is established by the agreements made between the Presidents of the two countries, during the governmental visit of the president of Finland Sauli Niiniste in the April of 2018 in Kazakstan.
The main aims of the Hub are raising commodity turnover between two countries, attracting "bilateral" investment and providing highly qualified specialists of the business community in the countries.
The Finnish Business Hub is business centre established by BusinessOulu and the City of Oulu to build connections between northern Finland and the Kazakhstan. The aim is to promote new business operations, especially in industrial production, the ICT sector and construction.

BusinessOulu, an enterprise owned by the City of Oulu, is responsible for implementing the city's industry policies and providing companies with development services.
BusinessOulu's purpose is to create an operating environment for businesses and entrepreneurship that promotes employment and the creation, operation, growth and competitiveness of companies. In addition to promoting the internationalisation of companies, BusinessOulu is in charge of the international business marketing of the city.
