About us
The Finnish Business Hub is established by the agreements made between the Presidents of the two countries, during the governmental visit of the president of Finland Sauli Niiniste in the April of 2018 in Kazakstan.
The main aims of the Hub are raising commodity turnover between two countries, attracting "bilateral" investment and providing highly qualified specialists of the business community in the countries.
The Finnish Business Hub is business centre established by BusinessOulu and the City of Oulu to build connections between northern Finland and the Kazakhstan. The aim is to promote new business operations, especially in industrial production, the ICT sector and construction.
General partner BusinessOulu
BusinessOulu, an enterprise owned by the City of Oulu, is responsible for implementing the city's industry policies and providing companies with development services.
BusinessOulu's purpose is to create an operating environment for businesses and entrepreneurship that promotes employment and the creation, operation, growth and competitiveness of companies. In addition to promoting the internationalisation of companies, BusinessOulu is in charge of the international business marketing of the city.

Finnish Business Hub was a general partner of the Finland pavilion while international exhibition EXPO-2017. Organized a business forum «Smart City Oulu» attended by the mayors of Oulu and Astana, energy forum «Finnish Energy Day», seminar «Finnish waste management day» with more than 2000 attendees.
Implementation of contemporary BIM-technologies
- An authorial training course about digital modelling of constructions, virtual design and building (BIM & VDC Training program) for advancing specialists' qualifications in BIM-technology and 3D-modelling spheres.
- Conducting seminars on BIM-technology for architectural bureaus, constructing and design companies, representatives of the city authority and ministries.
- BIM SPACE, a virtual reality complex with full integration in the project.
Finnish education model
- Pedagogical training for Kazakhstani teachers.
- Pedagogical projecting and planning.
- Participation in quasi-state projects by providing know-how.
